"Indescribably Different"

So my car broke down last week and being unable to find anyone who was home at the time I walked home. It was only a couple of miles, for a change, and it just happened to be lunchtime AND Skeenies just happened to be on the way home. I was lugging home about 15 pounds of cameras and lenses so I wouldn't have to leave them in the car and snapped this photo of the Skeenies Boy. Hear more about Skeenies on the WV Hot Dog Blog.

Stork Special Delivery

This stork stayed outside my house from the day Molly was born until today. Guess he had another delivery or something? He was 7 feet tall!!

Molly Update

Hey Everyone. We all came home from the hospital today and everyone is doing fine. We couldn't wait to get out of there and don't see how anyone is supposed to rest in a hospital. We're going to take a couple of days to ourselves to get adjusted and plan on having visitors and taking Molly out into the world to meet family over the weekend. Thanks again for all the support everyone has shown we really appreciate everyone being so great.

On another note, I promise not to make this a "Life of Molly" blog but she is definetly going to be a photography subject for years to come. I do plan on posting some more later on because we have a lot of family who can meet Molly on here so bear with me over the next couple of weeks with some of the beautiful baby photos and then I'll move on to some more routine kind of stuff. At least that's the plan. Thanks again everyone!!!

8 lbs 9 oz.....21 inches long....born on May 29, 2006 at 4:18 PM.

Scenic WV Backroads

These were taken a few days ago on a cloudy, rainy, and grey day. That's the cool part about WV, it's almost always beautiful around here. Just pick an old road, any old road, and you are going to find something that's beautiful..
I just liked the composition of this one...
PS: I've tried for a week to upload these with blogger and today is the first day it actually let me post the way I wanted too! Starting to wonder about blogger.

Cinco de Mayo, Power Style!!

The WV Power actually won a shut out on Cinco de Mayo....
The Power celebrated the victory with fireworks...
It was a pretty impressive fireworks display, for a single A ball team, I have actually seen worse fireworks at the Regatta....

Sorry for not posting much, quite a bit going on right now. We're having a baby in about 4 weeks and have other family issues going on. More posts to come sooner than later, I hope!

Church and Sky

Rick Lee should be familiar with this church. My wife works in the activity building of this church for Children's Therapy Clinic and it's where both my nephew, my brother and myself attended preschool. It's Bream Church on the West Side of Charleston.
